Mt. Washington

This past weekend I got togo home! The 4.5 hour ride is worth the short amount of time I get to spend with my family. I was unable to take a bunch of photos during my time in Pittsburgh, but I will post as many as I can to show you how I spent my weekend. I got to take my wife back to where we got engaged.

I need to unpack, but I plan on putting a few more photos for this page in the coming days.

Sailabration

This weekend Baltimore is celebrating the anniversary of the War of 1812 with the event Star Spangled Sailabration. Thursday night we got a chance to go to Fells Point to view the festivities. The only boat that was docked was a vessel from Canada. Unfortunately we were out of town and couldn't partake in the rest of the weekend festivities. Here are a couple photos from while we were in Fells Point.

Littering in Baltimore

I'm always disgusted when people throw stuff in the streets of Baltimore. I was walking by a kid who saw all the pollution in the bay and just said , "I don't care." Everything that is thrown in the streets eventually makes it into the storm drain, then into the jones falls, and finally in the bay......

Patterson Park - Updated

Finally I got some spare time after work to go to Patterson Park to take a couple photographs. I was limited on my time due to the sun setting but I believe I got a few good photos from the outing. I hope you enjoy.

Rent-a-garden

I came across a portion of Patterson Park where you can rent a plot of land and plant whatever you would like. I think it is a great idea and I plan on calling to reserve a plot so I can grow some vegetables for the family.
